The Initial is a gold letter pendant on a 20-inch box chain. The pendant is stainless steel with 18K gold plating, it comes in every letter from A to Z, and it's fine to wear in the shower.

Each rectangular pendant has a raised letter framed by a sunburst border. The face is about 17mm wide and 25mm tall including the bail, a little under an inch, so it reads as a small detail rather than a statement piece.

Is the initial necklace waterproof?
Yes. The gold plating lasts longest if you rinse off chlorine and salt water instead of letting it dry on.

How big is the letter pendant?
About 17mm wide and 25mm tall including the bail. The face is almost exactly the width of a dime; one of the photos shows it next to a dime and a ruler for scale.

Will it turn my skin green?
No. The base is stainless steel, not brass or copper, which are what leave green marks.
